Style Trends for 2009-2010

In 2009, hairstyles took a trip down memory lane. The influence of 1940's era fashion was reflected in the hairstyles on the catwalk. Sleek updo's and kinks abounding. These styles take some work and products, but if high maintenance is not your thing, at the other end of the spectrum is bedhead hair, with fluffy curls, looking unkempt or a little punky is ok as well. Blunt styles, side swept bangs and layers were ever so popular as in the Bob, but short cropped styles are really making a comeback. Warm shades of blonde and brunette are so ever popular, as well as brilliant coppers and pinky reds. For long hair, wear it up or in a ponytail for more style and add a hair accessory of the sparkly type for a fun accent for the Holidays. We see the styles following the same course into 2010. Montage will be offering the metallic hair extension type accessory available in several colors for the Holiday season. New stylist at Montage Hair Design in Campbell, CA

At the beginning of August, Frankie Saveri came to work with us at Montage. Frankie brings with him his clientele, a fun attitude and some fabulous styling ability. Also, joining us last December were Lisa Croche and Ashley Reardon. Ashley is a men's haircut specialist but enjoys ladies hair styling as well. Lisa has many years experience with men's and women hairstyling.



We still have Anita who specializes in those long spiral perms, and Veronica who is our multi-dimentional haircolor and hairloc extension specialist.



Also, on staff are Marianne Bertoldo and her sister Irene, both who have been at Montage for 4 years.



Myself, I have been enjoying doing hair for 32 years and have been a salon owner for 25 of them. We have a great group of stylists at Montage and are always looking forward to new learning experiences. We strive to keep our clients looking fresh and stylish each and every time they come to see us.
